Captain Claud Raymond Heygate was born on 27 July 1886.1 He was the son of William Howley Beaumont Heygate and Helen Frances Dalglish.2 He died on 2 July 1916 at age 29, killed in action.1

Major Lionel Clement Heygate was born on 20 February 1893.1 He was the son of William Howley Beaumont Heygate and Helen Frances Dalglish.2 He married, firstly, Janet Leigh Ogle, daughter of Richard Jeston Ogle, on 22 May 1918.1 He married, secondly, Yvonne Sylvia Tyler, daughter of William Ferdinand Tyler, on 25 September 1935.1 He and Yvonne Sylvia Tyler were divorced in 1943.1 He died on 25 February 1947 at age 54.1
He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Gold Coast in 1929.1
