Mary St. Lawrence was the daughter of William St. Lawrence, 14th Baron Howth and Lucy Gorges.2 She married Sir Richard Gethin, 4th Bt., son of Sir Richard Gethin, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Eames, on 15 August 1750.1 She died on 4 August 1787.1

Sir Percy Gethin, 5th Bt. was born before 1759. He was the son of Sir Richard Gethin, 4th Bt. and Mary St. Lawrence.2 He married Anne Nagle, daughter of Thomas Nagle, in May 1786.1 He died on 10 October 1837.1
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gethin, of Gethins Grot, co. Cork [I., 1665] circa 1778.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Sligo in 1780.1

Captain Richard Gethin was born before 1792. He was the son of Sir Percy Gethin, 5th Bt. and Anne Nagle.2 He married Jane South, daughter of Lt.-Col. unknown South, on 17 November 1819.1 He died on 5 January 1835.1
He fought in the Siege of Badajoz, first through the wall at the storming of Badajoz.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1 Between 1815 and 1821 with his Regiment, he guarded Napoleon at St. Helena.1
