     Keith Irvine Geddes was born on 25 October 1918.¹ He was the son of Irvine Campbell Geddes and Dorothy Jefford Fowler.² He married, firstly, Marion Olive Stirling, daughter of Major Sir John Stirling of Fairburn and Monar and Marjorie Kythé Mackenzie, on 31 July 1946.¹ He and Marion Olive Stirling were divorced in 1966.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Mary Pullen, daughter of Commander R. H. Pullen, on 9 January 1968.¹ He died on 30 March 1991 at age 72.¹
     He was educated at Loretto School, Muselborough, East Lothian, Scotland^G.² He graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹ He was Captain of the Scottish Rugby XV between 1945 and 1947.² He was director of British United Turkeys.² He was chairman of Alan Muntz Holdings.²

     Hon. Charles Shirley was born on 9 April 1682.¹ He was the son of Robert Shirley, 1st Earl Ferrers and Elizabeth Washington.¹ He died on 28 May 1682.¹

     Marion Olive Stirling was born on 17 August 1922.² She was the daughter of Major Sir John Stirling of Fairburn and Monar and Marjorie Kythé Mackenzie.² She married Keith Irvine Geddes, son of Irvine Campbell Geddes and Dorothy Jefford Fowler, on 31 July 1946.¹ She and Keith Irvine Geddes were divorced in 1966.¹ She died on 14 January 1994 at age 71.¹
     From 31 July 1946, her married name became Geddes.

     Rorie Irvine Geddes was born on 19 December 1948.¹ He is the son of Keith Irvine Geddes and Marion Olive Stirling.² He married, firstly, Phillippa Jane Wadams on 6 December 1975.³ He and Phillippa Jane Wadams were divorced on 10 June 1983.³ He married, secondly, Rachael Ann Pengelly, daughter of Michael Pengelly, on 29 September 1984.¹
