     Gille McHubert was the daughter of Ulick Bourke McHubert.1 She married, secondly, Richard Bermingham, 11th Lord Athenry, son of Edmond Bermingham, 10th Lord Athenry and Joan O'Shaughnessy.1 She married, firstly, Dermont O'Shaughnessy.1 She died on 20 November 1635.1 She was buried at Abbey of Athenry, Athenry, County Galway, IrelandG.1
     Her married name became O'Shaughnessy.1 Her married name became Bermingham.1 After her marriage, Gille McHubert was styled as Baroness Athenry.

     Edmond Bermingham was the son of Edward Bermingham and Mary Bourke.1 He died, without issue.1
     A Dominican Friar.1 He was styled as Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] in 1645, de jure, although, by an earlier deed dated 3 May 1641, he passed the title on to his brother Francis.1

Francis Bermingham, 12th Lord Athenry1

     Francis Bermingham, 12th Lord Athenry was the son of Edward Bermingham and Mary Bourke.1 He married Bridget Dillon, daughter of Sir Lucas Dillon and Jane Moore.1 He died on 12 April 1677.1 He was buried at Athenry, County Galway, IrelandG.1
     He succeeded as the 12th Lord Athenry [I., c. 1280] in 1645, under the deed signed 3 May 1641 by his elder brother, Edmond.1 In 1649 the exercise of martial law in Connaught was granted to him.1 On 12 August 1652 he had maintained the King's cause to the last during the Civil War, and so was excluded from the pardon.1 On 9 May 1661 he took his seat in Parliament, with his brother probably dead by this date.1 In 1667 he filed a bill in Chancery against the Portreeve of Athenry.1
