     Humphrey Waldo-Sibthorp was born on 3 October 1744.3 He was the son of Humphrey Sibthorp and Sarah Waldo.1 He married Susannah Ellison, daughter of Richard Ellison. He died on 25 April 1815 at age 70.3
     He was given the name of Humphrey Sibthorp at birth.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boston between 1777 and 1784.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincoln between 1800 and 1806.3 In 1804 his name was legally changed to Humphrey Waldo-Sibthorp by Royal Warrant, in memory of his kinsman, Peter Waldo.3
