Anne Farquharson was the daughter of John Farquharson, 9th of Invercauld and Margaret Murray.2 She married Angus Mackintosh, 22nd of Mackintosh, son of Lachlan Mackintosh and Anne Mackenzie.1 She died in 1787, without issue.1
Anne Farquharson also went by the nick-name of 'Colonel Anne'.2 Her married name became Mackintosh. In 1745 she raised a Clan Chattan regiment of 800 together with some of the Mackintoshes and Macgillivrays for the Stuart cause.2 In 1745 She was captured after Culloden, but soon released.1

Angus Mackintosh, 22nd of Mackintosh was the son of Lachlan Mackintosh and Anne Mackenzie.2 He married Anne Farquharson, daughter of John Farquharson, 9th of Invercauld and Margaret Murray.2 He died in 1770, without issue.2
