Margaret Davie was the daughter of unknown Davie of Newmill.2 She married Alexander Farquharson, 3rd of Balfour, son of Donald Farquharson, 2nd of Balfour and unknown daughter Gillanders.1 She died on 27 June 1808.1

Francis Farquharson of Finzean was born in 1802.1 He was the son of William Farquharson and unknown wife (?)2 He married, firstly, Alison Mary Ainslie, daughter of Robert Ainslie.1 He married, secondly, Mary Anne Girwood after 1863.1 He died on 27 February 1876.1
