     David Cuningham, 2nd of Robertland was born after 1526.¹ He was the son of David Cuninghame, 1st of Robertland and Margaret Cuninghame.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Cunningham, daughter of Sir William Cunningham of Glengarnock and Elizabeth Helen Sinclair.¹ He married, secondly, Grizel Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, 1st of Stonehouse and Grizel Sempill, in March 1555/56.¹ He died circa 1 December 1592.¹

     Sir William Cunningham of Glengarnock was the son of Sir Humphrey Cunningham of Glengarnock and Isabella Cuninghame.² He married Elizabeth Helen Sinclair, daughter of Sir William Sinclair of Roslin and Alison Home.³ He died in 1547.³

     Elizabeth Cunningham is the daughter of Sir William Cunningham of Glengarnock and Elizabeth Helen Sinclair.^2,3 She married, firstly, David Cuningham, 2nd of Robertland, son of David Cuninghame, 1st of Robertland and Margaret Cuninghame.¹ She married, secondly, John Schaw, son of James Shaw of Sauchie and Greenock and Alison Home.¹
     Her married name became Shaw.⁴ Her married name became Cuningham. Her married name became Schaw.¹

     Sir David Cuningham of Robertland was born after 1574.¹ He was the son of David Cuningham, 2nd of Robertland and Elizabeth Cunningham.² He married Jean Cuninghame, daughter of Alexander Cuninghame of Aiket.¹ He died circa 18 December 1607.¹
     On 30 April 1566 he was granted a charter of Hoilhouse.¹ He also had two daughters.¹

     Alexander Cuninghame of Aiket died after 19 February 1582.²

     Jean Cuninghame is the daughter of Alexander Cuninghame of Aiket.² She married Sir David Cuningham of Robertland, son of David Cuningham, 2nd of Robertland and Elizabeth Cunningham.¹
     Her married name became Cuningham.

     Sir David Cuningham was the son of Sir David Cuningham of Robertland and Jean Cuninghame.² He married Margaret Fleming, daughter of Patrick Fleming.¹ He died in April 1619.¹
     In 1607 he was retoured heir to his father and grandfather.¹ In 1614 he had charter of Glengarnock.¹ He lived at Robertland, Stewarton, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ He had two other sons.¹

     Patrick Fleming lived at Barochan, Renfrewshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Fleming is the daughter of Patrick Fleming.² She married Sir David Cuningham, son of Sir David Cuningham of Robertland and Jean Cuninghame.¹
     Her married name became Cuningham.

     Sir David Cuningham of Robertland, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir David Cuningham and Margaret Fleming.² He and Elizabeth Joyce obtained a marriage license on 8 June 1637.¹ He died between 8 October 1661 and November 1671.¹
     He was Master of the Horse to King James VI.¹ In 1619 he was served heir general of his father.¹ In 1628 he was served heir special in Robertland, Glengarnock, etc.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Cuningham, of Robertland, co. Ayr [Nova Scotia] on 25 November 1630, with special remainder to heirs male whatsoever.¹
