Mary Allison Dorothy Fairbairn was born on 9 August 1860.1 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Fairbairn, 2nd Bt. and Allison Callaway.2 She married, firstly, Sir Archibald Lennox Milliken-Napier of Merchistoun, 10th Bt., son of Sir Robert John Milliken-Napier of Merchistoun, 9th Bt. and Anne Salisbury Meliora Ladaveze Adlercron, on 16 December 1880.2 She married, secondly, G. Graham Kirklinton on 1 June 1904.1 She and Sir Archibald Lennox Milliken-Napier of Merchistoun, 10th Bt. were divorced in 1903.2 She died on 7 November 1936 at age 76.1
