Sir John Fagge, 1st Bt. was the son of John Fagge and Elizabeth Hudson.2 He married, secondly, Anne Henshaw, daughter of Philip Henshaw.1 He married, firstly, Mary Morley, daughter of Robert Morley, on 19 March 1645.1 He died on 18 January 1700/1.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Rye between 1645 and 1653.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sussex between 1654 and 1659.1 He held the office of Member of the Council of State in 1659.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Parliamentary Army.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning between 1660 and 1681.1 He was created 1st Baronet Fagge, of Wiston, Sussex and Mystole, Kent [England] on 11 December 1660.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sussex between 1681 and 1685.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning between 1685 and 1701.1 He had eleven other children, who all died unmarried.1

Sir Robert Fagge, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Fagge, 1st Bt. and Mary Morley.2 He married Elizabeth Culpepper, daughter of Benjamin Culpepper, on 21 September 1671.1 He died on 26 August 1715.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Shoreham between 1679 and 1681.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning between 1690 and 1695.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Steyning from 1701 to 1702.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Fagge, of Wiston, Sussex and Mystole, Kent [E., 1660] on 18 January 1700/1.1
