Henry Addington, 1st Viscount Sidmouth was born on 30 May 1757.1 He was the son of Anthony Addington and Mary Hiley.1,2 He married, firstly, Ursula Mary Hammond, daughter of Leonard Hammond, on 19 September 1781.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Marianne Scott, daughter of William Scott, 1st and last Baron Stowell of Stowell Park and Anna Maria Bagnall, on 29 July 1823.1 He died on 15 February 1844 at age 86.3
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1784 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He held the office of Recorder of Devizes in 1784.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Devizes between 1784 and 1805.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1789.1 He held the office of Speaker, House of Commons between 1789 and 1801.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1791.1 He held the office of Deputy Ranger of Richmond Park.1 He held the office of Prime Minister between 1801 and 1804.1 He held the office of First Lord of the Treasury between 1801 and 1804.1 He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1801 and 1804.1 He held the office of Governor of Charterhouse in 1802.1 He held the office of Lord President of the Council between January 1805 and July 1805.1 He was created 1st Viscount Sidmouth, of Sidmouth, co. Hon. Frances Addington was born in 1793.2 She was the daughter of Henry Addington, 1st Viscount Sidmouth and Ursula Mary Hammond.3 She married Very Rev. Hon. George Pellew, son of Edward Pellew, 1st Viscount Exmouth and Susannah Frowde, on 20 June 1820.3 She died on 27 February 1870.3

Henry Edward Pellew, 6th Viscount Exmouth was born on 26 April 1828.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. George Pellew and Hon. Frances Addington.2 He married, firstly, Eliza Jay, daughter of William Jay, on 5 October 1858.1 He married, secondly, Augusta Jay, daughter of William Jay, on 14 May 1873.1 He died on 4 February 1923 at age 94.1

Charles Ernest Pellew, 7th Viscount Exmouth was born on 11 March 1863.1 He was the son of Henry Edward Pellew, 6th Viscount Exmouth and Eliza Jay.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Chandler, daughter of Professor C. F. Chandler, in 1886.1 He married, secondly, Mabel Gray, daughter of Richard Gray, on 12 May 1923.1 He died on 7 June 1945 at age 82.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Signal Corps, U.S. Volunteers.1 He fought in the Spanish-American War.1 He was appointed Fellow, Chemical Society.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Pellew, of Exmouth, co. Georgiana Susan Pellew was the daughter of Very Rev. Hon. George Pellew and Hon. Frances Addington.2 She married William Wells Addington, 3rd Viscount Sidmouth, son of William Leonard Addington, 2nd Viscount Sidmouth and Mary Young, on 29 September 1848.1 She died on 2 January 1896.1
From 29 September 1848, her married name became Addington. After her marriage, Georgiana Susan Pellew was styled as Viscountess Sidmouth on 25 March 1864.
