Sir John Philip Ferdinand Mansel, 14th Bt. was born on 22 August 1910.1 He was the son of Sir Courtenay Cecil Mansel, 13th Bt. and Mary Philippa Agnes Germaine Littlewood.2 He married Hannah Rees, daughter of Ben Rees, on 16 July 1940.1 He died on 6 April 1947 at age 36.1
He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Mansel, of Muddlescombe, co. Carmarthen [E., 1622] on 4 January 1933.1
