     Mervyn Edward Philip Marwood-Elton was born on 1 May 1923.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Marwood-Elton and Juliet Marriott.² He died on 5 February 1946 at age 22 at South Africa^G, in a car crash.¹

     Mary Anne Elton was the daughter of Thomas Marwood Elton and Charlotte Maria May.² She married Surgn.-Maj. Henry Nathanial Elton on 2 November 1869.¹ She died in February 1913.¹

     Surgn.-Maj. Henry Nathanial Elton married Mary Anne Elton, daughter of Thomas Marwood Elton and Charlotte Maria May, on 2 November 1869.¹ He died on 29 October 1907.¹
     He gained the rank of Surgeon-Major in the Indiam Medical Service.¹
