Sir John Henniker-Heaton, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 April 1877 at New South Wales, Australia.1,2 He was the son of Sir John Henniker-Heaton, 1st Bt. and Rose Bennett.1,3 He married Hon. Catherine Mary Sermonda Burrell, daughter of Willoughby Merrik Campbell Burrell, 5th Baron Gywdyr and Mary Bankes, on 16 April 1902.1 He died on 21 February 1963 at age 85.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Welsh Horse.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Henniker-Heaton, of Mundarrah Towers, Sydney, Australia [U.K., 1912] on 8 September 1914.3
