Emma of Venaissin was the daughter of Rotbold of Venaissin, Count of Venaissin and Ermengarde (?) She married Guillaume III Taillefer, Comte de Provence, son of Raimond III Pons, Comte de Toulouse and Gersende (?), circa 990. She died after 1024.

Sir Thomas Molyneux, 1st Bt. was born on 14 April 1661.2 He was the son of Samuel Molyneux and Anne Dowdall.2 He married, secondly, Katherine Howard, daughter of Ralph Howard and Katherine Sotheby, in 1694.2,3 He died in 1733.2
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1683 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1683 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)3 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 3 November 1686.3 He graduated in 1687 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ratoath [Ireland] between 1695 and 1699.3 He was Regius Professor of Physic between 1717 and 1733 at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.3 He was created 1st Baronet Molyneux, of Castle Dillon, co. Armagh [Ireland] on 4 July 1730.2 He was physician-general to the army in Ireland.2
