Emily Fletcher was the daughter of William Fletcher.2 She married Sir Thomas Earle, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Hardman Earle, 1st Bt. and Mary Langton, on 6 September 1853.1 She died on 2 June 1905.1

Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Earle, 3rd Bt. was born on 15 August 1854.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Earle, 2nd Bt. and Emily Fletcher.2 He married Evelyn Grace Boileau, daughter of Major Charles Henry Boileau, on 17 September 1891.1 He died on 16 July 1939 at age 84, without male issue.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Jowaki Campaign in 1877.1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1878 and 1880.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Master of Arts (M.A.) by Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He fought in the Burma War between 1886 and 1887, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1887.1 He fought in the Tirah Expedition between 1897 and 1898, where he was severely wounded.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he was mentioned in despatches, and was severely wounded at the Modder River.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Own Yeomanry Light Infantry.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Earle, of Allerton Tower, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1869] on 13 April 1900.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916.1
