     Maria Louisa Smith was the daughter of John Hancorn Smith.² She married Sir Drummond Miles Dunbar of Durn, 7th Bt., son of Rev. Sir William Dunbar of Durn, 6th Bt. and Ann Stephen, on 24 July 1873.¹ She died on 29 November 1922.¹
     From 24 July 1873, her married name became Dunbar.

     William Dunbar was born on 1 May 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir Drummond Miles Dunbar of Durn, 7th Bt. and Maria Louisa Smith.² He died on 19 May 1900 at age 24, unmarried.¹

     Sir George Alexander Drummond Dunbar of Durn, 8th Bt. was born on 10 May 1879.¹ He was the son of Sir Drummond Miles Dunbar of Durn, 7th Bt. and Maria Louisa Smith.² He married Sophie Kathleen Kennedy, daughter of James Benson Kennedy, on 24 May 1916.¹ He died on 25 June 1949 at age 70.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Dunbar, of Durn [N.S., 1698] on 4 January 1903.¹ He fought in the First World War, in German South-West Africa and France.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Black Watch (SR.)¹

     Hugh Stephen Dunbar was born on 25 February 1881.¹ He was the son of Sir Drummond Miles Dunbar of Durn, 7th Bt. and Maria Louisa Smith.² He married Coralie Howard Vere, daughter of William James Vere, in 1910.¹ He died on 19 December 1936 at age 55.¹

     William James Vere lived at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa^G.¹

     Coralie Howard Vere was the daughter of William James Vere.² She married Hugh Stephen Dunbar, son of Sir Drummond Miles Dunbar of Durn, 7th Bt. and Maria Louisa Smith, in 1910.¹ She died in 1948.¹
     From 1910, her married name became Dunbar.

     Uthred Ninian Vere Dunbar was born on 27 September 1910.¹ He was the son of Hugh Stephen Dunbar and Coralie Howard Vere.² He married Susan Kathleen Thompson, daughter of Arthur George Thompson, in 1942.¹ He died in 1977.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Sergeant in the South African Air Force.¹

     Susan Kathleen Thompson is the daughter of Arthur George Thompson.² She married Uthred Ninian Vere Dunbar, son of Hugh Stephen Dunbar and Coralie Howard Vere, in 1942.¹
     From 1942, her married name became Dunbar.

     Stephen Bruce Dunbar was born in 1949.¹ He is the son of Uthred Ninian Vere Dunbar and Susan Kathleen Thompson.²
