     Captain Arthur Miller was born circa 1910.2 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Alfred Douglas Miller and Ella Geraldine Fletcher.2 He married Eleanor Mary Barrell Abrahall, daughter of Arthur John Abrahall, on 24 August 1939.1 He died on 18 August 1942 at Nigeria, while on active service.1,2

     Major Hon. David Simon St. Clair-Erskine was born on 18 November 1917.1 He was the son of James Francis Harry St. Clair-Erskine, 5th Earl of Rosslyn and Vera Mary Bayley.1 He married Antonia Mary Kelly, daughter of Admiral Sir John Donald Kelly, on 5 March 1948.1 He and Antonia Mary Kelly were divorced in 1958.1 He died on 25 October 1985 at age 67 at London, England.1,2
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.1 He was educated in 1938 at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1

     P/O Hon. Peter George Alexander St. Clair-Erskine was born on 30 October 1918.1 He was the son of Francis Edward Scudamore St. Clair-Erskine, Lord Loughborough and Sheila Margaret MacKellar Chisholm.1 He died on 8 September 1939 at age 20, killed on active service.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.1

     William Leslie was born circa 1752. He was the son of David Leslie, 8th Earl of Leven and Wilhelmina Nisbet.1 He died in 1777, killed in action.1
     He fought in the American War of Independence.1 He gained the rank of officer in the British Army.1

     General David Leslie was born circa 1754. He was the son of David Leslie, 8th Earl of Leven and Wilhelmina Nisbet.1 He married Rebecca Gillies, daughter of Reverend John Gillies, on 16 January 1787.1 He died on 21 October 1838, without issue.1

Lt.-Gen. John Cuming1

     Lt.-Gen. John Cuming was born on 20 November 1759.1 He was the son of David Leslie, 8th Earl of Leven and Wilhelmina Nisbet.1 He married Jane Cuming, daughter of T. Cuming, on 13 September 1816.1 He died in 1824, without issue.1
     His name was legally changed to John Cuming.1 He was given the name of John Leslie at birth.1
