Major William Stanhope Taylor was born in May 1798.2 He was the son of Thomas Taylor and Lady Lucy Rachel Stanhope.3 He married Lady Sarah O'Brien, daughter of William O'Brien, 2nd Marquess of Thomond and Elizabeth Trotter, on 3 April 1830.3 He died on 4 April 1858 at age 59.2

Sir George Stucley, 1st Bt. was born on 17 August 1812.2 He was the son of Lewis William Buck and Anne Robbins.2 He married, firstly, Lady Elisabeth O'Brien, daughter of William O'Brien, 2nd Marquess of Thomond and Elizabeth Trotter, on 22 December 1835.2 He married, secondly, Louisa Granville, daughter of Bernard Granville, on 31 January 1872.2 He died on 13 March 1900 at age 87.2
He was given the name of George Stucley Buck at birth.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Barnstaple between 1855 and 1859.2 He was Colonel Commandant of the Devonshire Artillery.2 On 27 July 1858 his name was legally changed to George Stucley by Royal Licence.2 He was created 1st Baronet Stucley, of Affeton Castle, co.
