John Bridges Eustace was born on 20 January 1861.1 He was the son of Colonel John Thomas Eustace and Edith Kate Twentyman.2 He married Helena Kindeace Perceval Cruikshanks Charlton Robertson, daughter of Charles Robertson, 8th of Kindeace and Helena Emma Wilson, on 8 June 1907.1 He died on 9 August 1947 at age 86, without issue.1
He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, EnglandG.1 Between 1880 and 1884 he served in the suppression of the slave trade on the East Coast of Africa and Persian Gulf.1 He fought in the China War in 1900, in the China Expeditionary Force as Principal Transport Officer (despatches.)1 He was Escort to HRH The Prince of Wales on a trip to India.1 He fought in the Venezuela Blockade in 1903.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Ministry of Munitions.1 He retired from the military in 1918, with the rank of Vice-Admiral.1 He held the office of Younger Brother of Trinity House.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1922.1 He held the office of Mayor of Wokingham between 1922 and 1928.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Denton Lodge, Wokingham, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
