     He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Lancers.¹

     Charles Armstrong Doyne was born on 18 February 1826.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Doyne and Ellen Armstrong.² He died, unmarried.¹

     Henry Archdall Doyne was born on 25 October 1833.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Doyne and Ellen Armstrong.² He married Lydia Clarke Hawks, daughter of George Hawks, in 1859.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He gained the rank of honorary Major and Adjutant in the Donegal Artillery Militia.¹

     Lydia Clarke Hawks was the daughter of George Hawks.² She married Henry Archdall Doyne, son of Reverend John Doyne and Ellen Armstrong, in 1859.¹ She died on 26 June 1911.¹
