     Mary Fanshawe was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Edward Arthur Fanshawe and Frances Rose Higginson.² She married Sir Eric de Burgh, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas John de Burgh and Emily Anne Fock, on 31 October 1923.¹ She died on 14 June 1934.¹
     From 31 October 1923, her married name became de Burgh.
