     From 2 June 1917, her married name became Seltman.

     Charles Theodore Seltman was the son of Ernest John Seltman.² He married Isabella May Griffiths Dane, daughter of Arthur Henry Cole Dane and Isabella Campbell Yate, on 2 June 1917.¹ He died on 28 June 1957.¹
     He was a noted archaeologist and numismatist.¹ He was University Lecturer in Classics.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature (Litt.D.)¹

     Sir Richard Morris Dane was born on 21 May 1854.¹ He was the son of Richard Martin Dane and Sophia Eliza Griffiths.² He married Emily Leeds, daughter of Sir Edward Leeds, 3rd Bt. and Fanny Templer, on 24 June 1880.¹ He and Emily Leeds were divorced in 1901.¹ He died on 13 February 1940 at age 85.¹
     He was in the Indian Civil Service between 1874 and 1909.¹ He was Inspector-General of Excise and Salt for India between 1907 and 1909.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.) in 1909.¹ He was Foreign Chief Inspector of Salt for Gabelle, China between 1913 and 1919.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Excellent Crop of China in 1915 1st class.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Striped Tiger of China in 1918 1st class.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor.¹

     Emily Leeds was the daughter of Sir Edward Leeds, 3rd Bt. and Fanny Templer.^2,3 She married, firstly, Sir Richard Morris Dane, son of Richard Martin Dane and Sophia Eliza Griffiths, on 24 June 1880.¹ She and Sir Richard Morris Dane were divorced in 1901.¹ She married, secondly, Colonel George Mowatt Duff in 1902.³ She died on 30 August 1928.¹
     From 24 June 1880, her married name became Dane. From 1902, her married name became Duff.³

     Major Richard Dane was born on 21 August 1887. He was the son of Sir Richard Morris Dane and Emily Leeds.² He married Ellen Norman Dane, daughter of Sir Louis William Dane and Edith Norman, on 7 July 1917.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.¹ He lived at Old Stocks Farm, Burley, Hampshire, England^G.¹
