Reverend Samuel Madden was born on 25 August 1801.2 He was the son of Major Samuel Madden and Margaret Grace Gordon-Cumming.2 He married Hannah Thomasine Duckett, daughter of Thomas Duckett and Catherine Madden, on 11 November 1822.2 He died on 15 January 1834 at age 32.2

Sir William Edward Douglas Crosbie, 8th Bt. was born on 13 October 1855.1 He was the son of Sir William Richard Crosbie, 7th Bt. and Catherine Madden.2 He married, secondly, Rose Kathleen Moule.1 He married, firstly, Georgina Mary Marsh, daughter of Thomas Edward Milles Marsh, on 21 June 1893.1 He died on 29 December 1936 at age 81, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Bedfordshire Militia.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Crosbie, of Maryborough, Queen's County [I., 1630] on 6 May 1877.1
