Thomas Vuax, 2nd Lord Vaux of Harowden 2
He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden, co. Northampton [E., 1523] on 14 May 1523.1 He held the office of Governor of Jersey from January 1525/26 to July 1536.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1533.1 He wrote the book ‘The Assault of Cupide' and ‘The Aged Louer (Lover)', published 1557, which were published in a collection amassed by Tottel, of Tottel's Miscellany fame.1

Elizabeth Cheney is the daughter of Sir Thomas Cheyne and Anne Parr.1 She married Thomas Vaux, 2nd Baron Vaux of Harrowden, son of Nicholas Vaux, 1st Baron Vaux of Harrowden and Anne Greene, from 25 April 1523 to 10 November 1523.2 She died on 20 November 1556.2
