     Charlotte Anne Dick-Lauder was born on 16 September 1849 at Pencaitland, East Lothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of Sir John Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 8th Bt. and Lady Anne Dalrymple.³ She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. John Fletcher Hathorn of Castlewigg on 1 March 1875 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,4 She married, secondly, Francis Somerville Head, son of Sir Francis Somerville Head, 2nd Bt. and Mary Jane Garnett, on 16 April 1891.¹ She died on 14 March 1936 at age 86.¹
     From 1 March 1875, her married name became Hathorn.¹ From 16 April 1891, her married name became Head.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Fletcher Hathorn of Castlewigg was born in 1839.² He married Charlotte Anne Dick-Lauder, daughter of Sir John Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 8th Bt. and Lady Anne Dalrymple, on 1 March 1875 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2 He died on 18 November 1888.¹

     From 2 August 1871, her married name became Duckett.

     Steuart James Charles Duckett was born on 10 October 1847.² He was the son of William Duckett and Harriet Isabella Anne Gordon.³ He married Catherine Seton Dick-Lauder, daughter of Sir John Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 8th Bt. and Lady Anne Dalrymple, on 2 August 1871 at St. John's Episcopal Chapel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,4 He died in 1915.¹

Sir John North Dalrymple Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 11th Bt. was born on 22 July 1883 at Sultanpur, India.^1,2 He was the son of Sir George William Dalrymple Dick-Lauder of Fountainhall, 10th Bt. and Jane Emily Clifford Woodward.³ He married Phyllis Mary Iggulden, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Herbert Augustus Iggulden and Ethel Horne Halliday, on 24 February 1914 at Lucknow, Bengal, India.^1,2 He died on 19 September 1958 at age 75 at White House, Nigg, Ross-shire, Scotland.^1,2
