     Sir William Chevre is the son of Gosfred Chievre.2
     He was a witness to foundation charter of Tinterne Abbey in County Wexford.1 He received a knight's fee of land in County Wexford.1 In 1172 he accompanied Strongbow in the invasion of Ireland.1 He was living in 1174.1
