     Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Venables-Vernon was born in 1796.1 He was the son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord.1 He married Eliza Grace Coke, daughter of Edward Coke and Grace Colhoun, on 29 August 1822.1 He died on 12 December 1845.1
     He was given the name of Henry Sedley at birth.1 After 18 June 1813 his name was legally changed to Henry Venables-Vernon.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.1

     Eliza Grace Coke was the daughter of Edward Coke and Grace Colhoun.1 She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Venables-Vernon, son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord, on 29 August 1822.1
     From 29 August 1822, her married name became Venables-Vernon.

     Reverend Hon. John Venables-Vernon was born on 8 March 1798.2 He was the son of Henry Venables-Vernon, 3rd Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Alice Lucy Whitefoord.1,2 He married, firstly, Frances Barbara Duncombe, daughter of Thomas Duncombe and Emma Hinchcliffe, on 24 November 1830.3 He married, secondly, Caroline Paget, daughter of General Hon. Sir Edward Paget and Lady Harriet Legge, on 15 December 1853.1 He died on 11 December 1875 at age 77.2
     He was given the name of John Sedley at birth.2 After 18 June 1813 his name was legally changed to John Venables-Vernon.2 He was Rector at Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He was the Rector at Nuthall, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1

     Thomas Duncombe was born in 1769.1 He was the son of Charles Slingsby Duncombe and Isabel Soulby.2 He married Emma Hinchcliffe, daughter of Rt. Rev. John Hinchcliffe and Elizabeth Crewe, in 1795.1 He died on 7 December 1847.1
     He lived at Copgrove, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

Francis Lawrance William Venables-Vernon, 9th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton1

     Francis Lawrance William Venables-Vernon, 9th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton was born on 6 November 1889.1 He was the son of George William Henry Venables-Vernon, 7th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton and Frances Margaret Lawrance.1 He married Violet Miriam Nightingale Clay, daughter of Colonel Charles Herbert Clay and Violet Harriet Nightingale, on 9 February 1915.1 He died on 18 March 1963 at age 73.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, in the North Sea and Mediterranean.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Vernon, Baron of Kinderton, co. Chester [G.B., 1762] on 10 November 1915.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.1

     Lieutenant Hon. Edward Henry Venables-Vernon was born on 5 July 1823 at Somershall, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Venables-Vernon and Eliza Grace Coke.2 He married Louisa Sophia Charlotte de Joux, daughter of Reverend Jean Gedeon Rene de Joux and Anne Selina Macartney Johnson, on 21 January 1851 at St. Brelade, Jersey, Channel IslandsG.1 He died on 7 January 1856 at age 32 at ChinaG, killed in action.1
     He was also known as Edward Henry Sedley.2 He was Lieutenant Royal Navy.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He fought in the China Campaign in 1856.
