William Samuel Sandes Boxwell was the son of Samuel Boxwell.2 He married Eileen Mary Diana Denny, daughter of Major William Alfred Charles Denny and Lucy Florence Coningham, on 10 June 1933.1 He died in 1961.1

Major William Alfred Charles Denny was born on 20 April 1871.1 He was the son of Alfred Edward Denny and Mary Harriet Scott Stokes.2 He married Lucy Florence Coningham, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Herbert Coningham, in 1896.1 He married Beatrice Mary Louisa Golborne, daughter of Alfred Boydell Golborne, on 15 March 1933.1 He died on 9 July 1934 at age 63.1
He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900, with the Natal Field Force, where he was wounded three times, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He fought in the South China Campaign between 1902 and 1903.1 He was Colonel of the Corps of Guides, Canadian Militia Forces between 1903 and 1905.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was Deputy Controller of the Welfare Supervision Department in 1917 at Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was Director-General of Military Intelligence.1

Beatrice Mary Louisa Golborne was the daughter of Alfred Boydell Golborne.1 She married, firstly, Edmund Henry Denny, son of Edward Coningsby Denny and Louisa Mary Callaway, in 1909.1 She married, secondly, Major William Alfred Charles Denny, son of Alfred Edward Denny and Mary Harriet Scott Stokes, on 15 March 1933.1 She died on 21 August 1942.1
