Colonel Edward Denny was born at Tralee, County Kerry, IrelandG.2 He was the son of Colonel Edward Denny and Mary Maynard.3 He married Lady Letitia Coningsby, daughter of Thomas Coningsby, 1st Earl of Coningsby and Barbara Georges, in 1700.1 He died in 1728.1
