     George Leslie of Balgonie was the son of George Leslie of Drummuir and Mary Stewart.1,2 He married, firstly, Anne Stewart, daughter of Patrick Stewart, 1st of Ballechin and Elizabeth Buttar, in 1578.1 He married, secondly, unknown wife of Rannoch after 1580.1 He married, thirdly, Margaret Stewart, daughter of George Stewart, 5th of Cardney and 3rd of Antullie and Margaret Stewart, on 10 December 1590.3 He died after 1610.3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the garrison of Blair Castle.1

     Alexander Leslie, 1st of Kininvie was the son of George Leslie, 1st of New Leslie and Comney Ramsay of Dalhousie.1 He married Margaret Calder of Napherson.2 He died in 1549.1
     In 1520 he was granted Kininvie by charter from John Stewart, 1st Earl of Atholl.1
