Gerald Graham Percival Heywood was born on 12 January 1867.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Percival Heywood, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Heywood.2 He married Mary Scudamore-Stanhope, daughter of Venerable Hon. Berkeley Lionel Scudamore-Stanhope and Caroline Sarah Arkwright, on 14 July 1898.1 He died on 28 July 1954 at age 87.1

Venerable Hon. Berkeley Lionel Scudamore-Stanhope was born on 13 May 1824.2 He was the son of Sir Edwyn Francis Scudamore-Stanhope, 2nd Bt. and Mary Dowell.1 He married Caroline Sarah Arkwright, daughter of John Arkwright and Sarah Hoskyns, on 27 January 1858.2 He died on 21 March 1919 at age 94.2
He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was Vicar between 1856 and 1866 at Bosbury, Herefordshire, England.2 He was Rector between 1866 and 1908 at Byford, Herefordshire, England.2 In 1884 he was granted the precedence of an earl's younger son.2 He held the office of Archdeacon of Hereford between 1887 and 1910.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Herefordshire.2
