Richard Heywood was born on 6 March 1799.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Heywood and Ann Percival.2 He married, firstly, Jane Magee, daughter of Most Reverend William Magee, on 16 December 1822.1 He married, secondly, Frances Harford, daughter of Henry Harford, on 1 June 1849.2 He died on 20 February 1867 at age 67.1
