John Hervey Balfour de Montmorency was born on 30 July 1890.1 He was the son of John Kiddell de Montmorency and Ada Kate Margaret Ligonier Balfour.2 He married Estelle Georgiana Adams, daughter of George Gammon Adams and Ada Janet Lambert, on 18 June 1925.1 He died on 29 May 1947 at age 56, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 18th Battalion, London Regiment.1 He was Administration Officer in Southern Nigeria.1

Sir Reginald D'Alton Lodge de Montmorency, 18th Bt. was born on 13 March 1899.1 He was the son of John Kiddell de Montmorency and Ada Kate Margaret Ligonier Balfour.2 He married Dorothy Victoria Robinson, daughter of Gilbert Walter Robinson, on 11 August 1928.1 He died in 1979, without issue.1
He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of officer in the Honourable Artillery Company and Royal Horse Artillery.1 He was a manager with Bell, Russ and Company, East India Merchants between 1925 and 1933 at Bombay, IndiaG.3 He was on the staff of the Times between 1936 and 1967.3 He succeeded as the 18th Baronet Morres, of Knockagh, co. Tipperary [I., 1631] on 22 December 1963.1
