     James Charles Herbert Welbore Ellis Agar, 3rd Earl of Normanton was born on 17 September 1818.1 He was the son of Welbore Ellis Agar, 2nd Earl of Normanton and Lady Diana Herbert.1 He married Hon. Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington, daughter of William Keppel Barrington, 6th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Hon. Jane Elizabeth Liddell, on 9 April 1856.1 He died on 19 December 1896 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Westminster School, London, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Somerton of Somerton, co. Kilkenny [I., 1795] on 26 August 1868.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Normanton, co. Kilkenny [I., 1806] on 26 August 1868.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Somerton [I., 1800] on 26 August 1868.1 He was created 1st Baron Somerton of Somerley, co. Southampton [U.K.] on 9 April 1873.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hampshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wiltshire.1

     Hon. Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington was born on 21 October 1834. She was the daughter of William Keppel Barrington, 6th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass and Hon. Jane Elizabeth Liddell.2 She married James Charles Herbert Welbore Ellis Agar, 3rd Earl of Normanton, son of Welbore Ellis Agar, 2nd Earl of Normanton and Lady Diana Herbert, on 9 April 1856.1 She died on 13 January 1915 at age 80.1
     Her married name became Agar. After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington was styled as Countess of Normanton on 26 August 1868.

     Hon. Francis William Arthur Agar was born on 19 October 1873.2 He was the son of James Charles Herbert Welbore Ellis Agar, 3rd Earl of Normanton and Hon. Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington.2,3 He married Laura Astley Kennard, daughter of Henry Steinmetz Kennard and Frances Charlotte Celestine Sperling, on 26 October 1897.3 He died on 18 August 1936 at age 62.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Sussex Yeomanry.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.2

Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington.1,3 She married Hon. Ivan Campbell, son of John Alexander Gavin Campbell, 6th Earl of Breadalbane and Holland and Mary Theresa Edwards, on 23 July 1884.3 She died on 29 March 1941 at age 77.3
     Her married name became Campbell.

     Hon. Ivan Campbell was born on 17 November 1859. He was the son of John Alexander Gavin Campbell, 6th Earl of Breadalbane and Holland and Mary Theresa Edwards.1 He married Lady Margaret Elizabeth Diana Agar, daughter of James Charles Herbert Welbore Ellis Agar, 3rd Earl of Normanton and Hon. Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington, on 23 July 1884.2 He died on 16 March 1917 at age 57.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Argyllshire.2 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.2 He was admitted to Honourable Corps of Gentleman-At-Arms.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.2

     John Alexander Gavin Campbell, 6th Earl of Breadalbane and Holland was born on 30 March 1824.1 He was the son of William John Lamb Campbell and Rosanna Doughty.1 He married Mary Theresa Edwards, daughter of John F. Edwards, on 20 April 1853.2 He died on 20 March 1871 at age 46 at The Albany, Piccadilly, London, EnglandG.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Royals.2 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Campbell, of Glenorchy, co. Perth [N.S., 1625] on 8 November 1862.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount of Tay and Paintland [S., 1681] on 8 November 1862.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Breadalbane and Holland [S., 1681] on 8 November 1862.1 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Glenurchy, Benederaloch, Ormelie and Weick [S., 1681] on 8 November 1862.1 In 1872 his estate established his rights to the Breadalbane estates.3

     Mary Theresa Edwards was the daughter of John F. Edwards.1 She married John Alexander Gavin Campbell, 6th Earl of Breadalbane and Holland, son of William John Lamb Campbell and Rosanna Doughty, on 20 April 1853.1 She died on 27 February 1870 at Nice, FranceG.1
     Her married name became Campbell. After her marriage, Mary Theresa Edwards was styled as Countess of Breadalbane and Holland on 8 November 1862.
