     John Chetwode Chetwood-Aiken was born on 17 August 1835.² He was the son of Peter Freeland Aiken and Constantia Elizabeth Chetwood.² He married Lucy Cuthbert Townsend, daughter of Richard Edward Townsend and Elizabeth Jane Bath, on 28 March 1865.¹ He died on 8 February 1907 at age 71.¹
     He lived at Stoke Bishop, Gloucestershire, England^G.²

     Susanna Townsend was the daughter of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Mary Hungerford.² She married Reverend John Meade, son of Very Rev. William Meade and Helena Townsend, in 1768.¹ She died on 19 March 1820, without issue.¹

     Major Charles Martin Clarke was born on 28 June 1905 at Keynsham, Somerset, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Charles Samuel Clarke and Elsie Margaret Hughes.² He married Ferelith Patricia Fuller, daughter of Admiral Sir Cyril Thomas Moulden Fuller, on 26 July 1935.² He died on 25 October 1942 at age 37 at El Alamein, Egypt, killed in action.⁴
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd King's Own Hussars.¹ He fought in the Second World War.²

     Barbara Townsend was the son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Mary Hungerford.² He died, unmarried.¹
