     William Hare Maunsell is the son of Richard Maunsell and Lady Catherine Hare.² He married, firstly, Fanny ffrench, daughter of Patrick ffrench, in 1838.² He married, secondly, Harriette Fleming, daughter of Reverend W. H. Fleming, on 6 September 1859.²

     Catherine Hare Maunsell is the daughter of William Hare Maunsell and Fanny ffrench.² She married Richard Newman Townsend, son of Richard Townsend and Mary Catherine Newman, in 1868.¹
