Daniel O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens was born on 11 May 1831.1 He was the son of Charles James O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens and Jane Frances O'Connell.2 He married Marie Sophie Ennis, daughter of Sir John Ennis, 1st Bt., on 10 February 1858.1 He died on 2 October 1889 at age 58.1
He held the position of O'Donoghue of the Glens from in 1833.1 He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tipperary between 1857 and 1865.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tralee between 1865 and 1885.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kerry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Cork.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Kerry Militia.1

Marie Sophie Ennis was the daughter of Sir John Ennis, 1st Bt.1 She married Daniel O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens, son of Charles James O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens and Jane Frances O'Connell, on 10 February 1858.1 She died on 22 October 1891.1

Geoffrey Charles Patrick O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens was born on 16 January 1859.1 He was the son of Daniel O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens and Marie Sophie Ennis.2 He married Anne Matilda Deighton Charlton, daughter of William Charlton, on 17 January 1895.1 He died on 13 June 1935 at age 76.1

Charles John Joseph O'Donoghue was born on 3 November 1860.1 He was the son of Daniel O'Donoghue, The O'Donoghue of the Glens and Marie Sophie Ennis.2 He married Rose Dalton, daughter of Laurence Dalton, on 20 July 1892.1 He died on 25 January 1903 at age 42, without issue.1
