     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the Kenya Emergency between 1954 and 1955.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Irish Fusiliers.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Irish Rifles.¹ Between 1974 and 1975 with Mino Defence.² He lived in 1976 at Gortin Minoge, Murrintown, County Wexford, Ireland^G.²

     Miles Arthur Maitland French was born on 12 March 1961.¹ He is the son of Major Arthur John French and Eve Diana Heriot-Maitland-Dougall.² He married Anne Rosemary Frederick, daughter of Sir Charles Boscawen Frederick, 10th Bt. and Rosemary Baddeley, in 1991.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Priest's House, Sutton Montis, Yeovil, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Sir Charles Boscawen Frederick, 10th Bt. was born on 11 April 1919.² He was the son of Sir Edward Boscawen Frederick, 9th Bt. and Edith Katherine Cortlandt Mulloy.² He married Rosemary Baddeley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert John Halkett Baddeley and Hilda Wardle, on 8 October 1949.² He died on 21 March 2001 at age 81.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War.² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1942 in the Grenadier Guards.² He gained the rank of Captain in 1945.² He fought in the Palestine Campaign between 1946 and 1947.² He fought in the Malayan Emergency between 1948 and 1949.² He gained the rank of Major in 1953.² He was member of the London Stock Exchange between 1954 and 1962.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Frederick, of Burwood House, Surrey [G.B., 1723] on 26 October 1956.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire between 1960 and 1961.² He was member of the Provincial Brokers' Stock Exchange between 1962 and 1975.² He was General Commissioner of Income Tax in 1966.² He was chairman of the Stock Exchange COuncil between 1973 and 1975.²

     Anne Rosemary Frederick was born on 1 November 1952.² She is the daughter of Sir Charles Boscawen Frederick, 10th Bt. and Rosemary Baddeley.² She married, firstly, François Maurice in 1976.² She married, secondly, Miles Arthur Maitland French, son of Major Arthur John French and Eve Diana Heriot-Maitland-Dougall, in 1991.¹
     From 1976, her married name became Maurice.² From 1991, her married name became French.² She lived in 2003 at 77 rue du Moulin de Saquet, Villejuif, France^G.²
