Julia Catherine Anne Nugent was born on 3 June 1830.1 She was the daughter of Anthony Francis Nugent, 9th Earl of Westmeath and Anne Catherine Daly.1 She married George John Browne, 3rd Marquess of Sligo, son of Howe Peter Browne, 2nd Marquess of Sligo and Lady Hester Catherine de Burgh, on 20 July 1858.1 She died on 25 June 1859 at age 29.1

Anthony Francis Nugent, 9th Earl of Westmeath was born on 1 November 1805.2 He was the son of William Thomas Nugent and Mary Catherine Bellew.3 He married Anne Catherine Daly, daughter of Malachy Daly and Julia Burke, on 3 October 1829.4 He died on 12 May 1879 at age 73.2
