     Lt.-Gen. John Chester was born on 3 August 1779.^2,3 He was the son of Charles Chester and Catherine Legge.⁴ He married Sophia Elizabeth Stuart, daughter of Charles Stuart, on 17 May 1821.⁴ He died on 19 May 1857 at age 77.
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.⁴ He lived at Ashtead, Surrey, England^G.

     Her married name became Baring. After her marriage, Lady Arabella Georgina Howard was styled as Baroness Northbrook on 4 January 1866.

Sir George Grey, 1st Bt. and Mary Whitbread.¹ She married Francis Thornhill Baring, 1st Baron Northbrook, son of Sir Thomas Baring, 2nd Bt. and Mary Ursula Sealy, on 7 April 1825 at Dockyard Chapel, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She died on 23 April 1838 at age 33 at Belgrave Square, London, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Baring.

     Captain Hon. Sir George Grey, 1st Bt. was born on 10 October 1767.² He was the son of General Charles Grey, 1st Earl Grey and Elizabeth Grey.^1,3 He married Mary Whitbread, daughter of Samuel Whitbread and Lady Mary Cornwall, on 18 June 1795.² He died on 3 October 1828 at age 60.²

     Her married name became Baring. After her marriage, Elizabeth Harriett Sturt was styled as Baroness Northbrook on 6 September 1866.
