Susan Maxwell Ussher was the daughter of Arthur Ussher and Margaret Hewetson.2 She married Strangman Davis-Goff, son of Francis Davis and Rebecca Goff, on 25 February 1835.1 She died on 1 March 1871.1

Sir William Davis-Goff, 1st Bt. was born on 12 September 1838.1 He is the son of Strangman Davis-Goff and Susan Maxwell Ussher.2 He married Anna Maria Hassard, daughter of Michael Dobbyn Hassard, on 4 April 1866.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Waterford City in 1869.1 He gained the rank of officer in the 2nd Dragoon Guads.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Waterford in 1892.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Waterford City in 1899.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Motor Volunteers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Wexford.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Waterford.1 He was created 1st Baronet Davis-Goff, of Glenville, co. Waterford and of Horetown, co. Wexford [U.K.] on 8 December 1905.1 He was (an unknown value) on 23 November 1917.1
