Mary Jones was the daughter of Reverend Evan Jones.2 She married Edward Davies, son of David Davies, on 15 August 1877.1 She died on 28 April 1888.1

David Davies, 1st Baron Davies was born on 11 May 1880.2 He was the son of Edward Davies and Mary Jones.2 He married, firstly, Amy Penman, daughter of L. T. Penman, in 1910.2 He married, secondly, Henrietta Margaret Fergusson, daughter of James Grant Fergusson, on 9 December 1922.2 He died on 16 June 1944 at age 64.2
He lived Llandinam.2 He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Montgomeryshire between 1906 and 1929.2 He was commander of the 14th Battalion, Royal Welch Fusiliers between 1914 and 1916.2 He was a director of Midland Bank.2 He was a director of the Great-Western Railway.2 He was chairman of Ocean Coal and Wilsons Ltd.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)2 He was created 1st Baron Davies, of Llandinam, co. Gwendoline Elizabeth Davies was the daughter of Edward Davies and Mary Jones.2 She died on 3 July 1951, unmarried.1
They amassed an art collection including works by Cézanne, Corot, Daumier, Millet, Monet, Rodin, Turner and Van Gogh, that they left to the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.1 She was appointed Companion of Honour (C.H.) in 1937.1

Edward David Grant Davies was born on 30 January 1925.1 He was the son of David Davies, 1st Baron Davies and Henrietta Margaret Fergusson.2 He married, firstly, Patricia Elizabeth Musto, daughter of Clifford Roberts Musto, on 12 March 1949.1 He married, secondly, Shirley Harrison, daughter of Le Greur Harrison, on 12 September 1975.1 He died on 26 October 1997 at age 72.1
