Admiral Sir Vaughan Morgan was born on 20 March 1891.2 He was the son of Joseph John Morgan.2 He married, firstly, Mary Julia Lowe, daughter of Dillon Ross Lewin Lowe, in 1916.2 He married, secondly, Eirene Marjorie Hay-Dinwoody, daughter of Reverend Leofric Matthews Hay-Dinwoody and Margaret Hay, in 1962.2 He died on 9 October 1969 at age 78.2
