     Norah Frances Godley was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Clements Godley and Maud Adeline Whittall.² She married Sir Basil Edward Nicolls, son of Venerable Gerald Edward Nicolls, on 18 February 1922.¹ She died in October 1975.¹
     From 18 February 1922, her married name became Nicolls.¹

     Venerable Gerald Edward Nicolls held the office of Archdeacon of Lahore.¹

     Sir Basil Edward Nicolls was the son of Venerable Gerald Edward Nicolls.² He married Norah Frances Godley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Clements Godley and Maud Adeline Whittall, on 18 February 1922.¹ He died on 3 August 1965.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹ He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     John Cornwallis Godley was born on 9 February 1861.¹ He was the son of Reverend James Godley and Eliza Frances La Touche.² He married Mary Blanche MacNaught, daughter of William MacNaught, in January 1895.¹ He died on 19 August 1946 at age 85.¹
     He was Director of Public Instruction, Punjab between 1907 and 1917.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹

     Mary Blanche MacNaught was the daughter of William MacNaught.² She married John Cornwallis Godley, son of Reverend James Godley and Eliza Frances La Touche, in January 1895.¹ She died on 3 March 1937.¹
     From January 1895, her married name became Godley.
