     Sir Ian Leslie Orr Ewing was born on 4 June 1893.² He was the son of Charles Lindsay Orr Ewing and Hon. Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven.^1,2 He married Helen Bridget Gibbs, daughter of Hon. Henry Lloyd Gibbs and Alice Mary Crutchley, on 24 January 1917.¹ He died on 27 April 1958 at age 64.²

Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven, daughter of Walter James Hore-Ruthven, 9th Lord Ruthven of Freeland and Lady Caroline Annesley Gore, on 5 December 1888.² He and Hon. Beatrice Mary Leslie Hore-Ruthven were divorced in 1894.² He married, secondly, Lady Augusta Helen Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of David Boyle, 7th Earl of Glasgow and Dorothea Elizabeth Thomasina Hunter Blair, on 28 April 1898.² He died on 24 December 1903 at age 43.²

     Reverend James Franck Bright was born on 29 May 1832 at Westminster, London, England.² He was the son of Richard Bright and Elizabeth Follett.² He married Emmeline Theresa Wickham, daughter of Reverend Edmund Dawe Wickham, in 1864.² He died on 22 October 1920 at age 88 at Ditchingham Hall, Bungay, Norfolk, England.²

     Margaret Evelyn Mackay is the daughter of Captain Robert Henry Ramsay Mackay and Beatrice Caroline Arbuthnot.^1,2 She married Christopher John Gibbs, son of John Arthur Gibbs and Emily Gertrude Franck Bright, on 8 September 1942.¹
     Her married name became Gibbs.

     Captain Robert Henry Ramsay Mackay was the son of Henry Ramsay Mackay.² He married Beatrice Caroline Arbuthnot, daughter of Admiral Charles Ramsay Arbuthnot and Emily Caroline Schomberg, on 21 April 1906.² He died on 18 August 1954.²
