     Alice Henrietta Staples was born on 12 December 1909.¹ She was the daughter of John Molesworth Staples and Helen Lucy Johnstone Barrington.² She died in 1998.¹

     Eileen Patience Staples was born on 24 August 1917.¹ She was the daughter of John Molesworth Staples and Helen Lucy Johnstone Barrington.² She died in 2000.¹

     Thomas Staples was born in 1870.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Staples and Grace Wolseley.² He married Mary Ussher Greer, daughter of Frederick Greer and Cecilia Staples, on 14 April 1903.¹ He died on 4 April 1963.¹

     Frederick Greer was born on 17 February 1829.² He was the son of Thomas Greer and William-Mina Ussher.³ He married Cecilia Staples, daughter of Sir Nathaniel Alexander Staples, 10th Bt. and Elizabeth Lindsay Head, on 30 June 1874.¹ He died on 29 November 1908 at age 79.²
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Tullylagan, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹

     Mary Ussher Greer was born on 19 August 1879.² She was the daughter of Frederick Greer and Cecilia Staples.^3,4 She married Thomas Staples, son of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Staples and Grace Wolseley, on 14 April 1903.¹ She died on 23 November 1966 at age 87.¹
     From 14 April 1903, her married name became Staples.

     Sir Thomas Staples, 15th Bt. was born on 9 February 1905.¹ He was the son of Thomas Staples and Mary Ussher Greer.² He married Frances Ann Irvine on 9 February 1952.¹ He died on 19 December 1997 at age 92, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Staples, of Lissan, co. Tyrone and Faghanvale, co. Londonderry [I., 1628] in 1989.¹

     Frances Ann Irvine married Sir Thomas Staples, 15th Bt., son of Thomas Staples and Mary Ussher Greer, on 9 February 1952.¹ She died in 1981.¹
     She lived at Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ From 9 February 1952, her married name became Staples.

     Sir Gerald James Arland Staples, 16th Bt. was born on 2 December 1909.¹ He was the son of Thomas Staples and Mary Ussher Greer.² He married Henrietta Owen Ussher, daughter of Percival Arland Ussher and Emily Atkinson Whitehead, on 7 April 1951.¹ He died on 22 September 1999 at age 89.¹
     He succeeded as the 16th Baronet Staples, of Lissan, co. Tyrone and Faghanvale, co. Londonderry [I., 1628] on 19 December 1997.¹

     Percival Arland Ussher was born on 9 September 1899.¹ He is the son of Beverly Grant Ussher and Emily Horsley Jebb.² He married Emily Atkinson Whitehead, daughter of Christopher Whitehead, on 13 April 1925.¹

     Henrietta Owen Ussher was born on 9 January 1926.² She is the daughter of Percival Arland Ussher and Emily Atkinson Whitehead.^3,2 She married Sir Gerald James Arland Staples, 16th Bt., son of Thomas Staples and Mary Ussher Greer, on 7 April 1951.¹
     She was registered as a Member, Chartered Society of Phyisiotherapy (M.C.S.P.) in 1946.² From 7 April 1951, her married name became Staples. She lived in 2003 at 5 Little Stodham House, Liss, Hampshire, England^G.¹
