He was in radio communications with the U.S. Navy and Federal Aviation between 1923 and 1950.1 He was with the U.S. Government.1 He was U.S. Representative to the ICAO in 1945.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Currie [U.K., 1847] in 1978.1

George Donald Currie was born in 1907.1 He was the son of George Hugh Currie and Grace Miller.2 He married Janet Scott, daughter of James Scott, in 1928.1 He died in 1980.1

Sir Donald Scott Currie, 7th Bt. was born on 16 January 1930.2 He was the son of George Donald Currie and Janet Scott.2 He married, firstly, Charlotte Johnstone, daughter of Charles Johnstone, in 1948.2 He and Charlotte Johnstone were divorced in 1951.2 He married, secondly, Barbara Lee Garnier, daughter of A. P. Garnier, on 30 April 1952.2 He married, thirdly, Barbara Lou Lebsack Fenn, daughter of Joshua I. Fenn, on 10 December 1994.2 He died on 9 February 2014 at age 84.
He was a rancher and farmer between 1949 and 1975.2 He was Chief of Maintenance, National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Currie [U.K., 1847] in 1987.1 He lived in 2003 at 9061 WCR 34, Platteville, Colorado, U.S.A.G.2
