     Andrew Cuninghame, 1st of Corsehill was the son of William Cuninghame, 4th Earl of Glencairn and Catherine Borthwick.² He married Margaret Cunningham.¹ He died in 1544.¹
     In 1532 his father made over Corsehill, Stewarton, Ayrshire to him.¹ In 1538 as an active Protestant, he was convicted of heresy by the Lords Spiritual and his estate forfeited.¹ He was pardoned and his property restored, in confirmation of which he was granted a charter of the same lands to him, his wife and heirs male.¹

     Margaret Cunningham married Andrew Cuninghame, 1st of Corsehill, son of William Cuninghame, 4th Earl of Glencairn and Catherine Borthwick.¹
     Her married name became Cuninghame.

     Cuthbert Cuninghame, 2nd of Corsehill was the son of Andrew Cuninghame, 1st of Corsehill and Margaret Cunningham.² He married Mauld Cuninghame, daughter of John Cuninghame of Aitket.¹ He died in 1575.¹
     He obtained on his father-in-law's resignation a new royal charter to him.¹

     Mauld Cuninghame is the daughter of John Cuninghame of Aitket.² She married Cuthbert Cuninghame, 2nd of Corsehill, son of Andrew Cuninghame, 1st of Corsehill and Margaret Cunningham.¹

     Patrick Cuninghame, 3rd of Corsehill was the son of Cuthbert Cuninghame, 2nd of Corsehill and Mauld Cuninghame.² He died in 1588, killed in a Cuninghame versus Montgomerie feud.¹
