     Lt.-Col. John Cassels Monteith was the son of Reverend John Monteith.¹ He married Jane Robertson Wilson, daughter of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Emma Alexandrina Binnie, on 23 April 1914.¹ He died on 30 September 1915, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Bedfordshire Regiment.¹

     Agnes Motherwell Wilson was the daughter of Sir John Wilson of Airdrie, 1st Bt. and Emma Alexandrina Binnie.² She married Vice-Admiral Evelyn Claude Ogilvie Thomson, son of Andrew Thomson, on 10 April 1918.¹ She died on 24 July 1957.¹
     From 10 April 1918, her married name became Thomson. In 1942 her name was legally changed to Agnes Ogilvie-Thomson.¹

     William Blakeney Persse Trousdell was born in 1841 at Fort House, Kilrush, County Clare, Ireland. He was the son of John Wilson Trousdell and Sarah Persse. He married Ellen Philippa Louisa Whatman, daughter of James Whatman and Louisa Isabella Ross, on 7 April 1875.¹ He died on 17 April 1918 at Kentucky, U.S.A.¹
